Description
A 1999 Peterbilt speedometer is the dashboard gauge that shows your truck’s speed while driving.
It’s usually located in the instrument cluster and includes an odometer (and sometimes a trip meter).
The needle is driven by a speed sensor/sender or signal from the drivetrain.
Common issues include needle not moving, odometer not turning, or speed reading inaccurate.
Replacement requires matching your exact Peterbilt model/configuration (often not a universal fit).
